On Sunday evening at approximately 11:43 PM, police respond to the rear of 2271 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, where they find an unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the head. The man is transported by EMS to St. Luke's Hospital, where he is pronounced dead. There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing. Shell casings are found at the scene, and NYPD personnel are blocking access to several roads and streets because of the fatal shooting. Crime scene unit personnel are marking evidence found at the scene and taking photographs.
