NYPD officers maintain a security cordon where a 49-year-old man is stabbed to death and a 49-year-old woman is critically injured inside an apartment at 1277 E. 69th St. in Brooklyn, N.Y., on December 11, 2025. Officers respond to the apartment within the confines of the 63 precinct around 7:36 p.m. and find both victims with multiple stab wounds. They are taken to Brookdale University Medical Center, where Juan Manuel Galicia, 49, is pronounced dead. The woman remains in critical condition.
