A female trade unionist shouts slogans while making the victory sing as she takes part in a rally held by the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) in Tunis, Tunisia, on March 04, 2023, to protest against the worsening economic situation as well as against the arrest of a senior trade union official. Demonstrators also protested against the policy of Tunisian President Kais Saied as well as against that of the government.

Demonstrators labelled Kais Said's rule as a dictatorship and criticised the economic policy of the government. A few weeks ago Tunisian authorities started a wave of arrests targeting prominent Tunisian dissidents.
