A janitor mops the empty arrival terminal floor at Mutiara Sis Aljufri Airport, Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia on April 27, 2020. The Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Transportation issued transportation control regulations during the Idul Fitri 1441 H Mudik (returning to hometown) season in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with prohibit passenger plane flights in all regions in effect from 25 April to 1 June 2020. Returning to hometown is a tradition that prevails among the local population to return to the village on each eve of Eid. Return to hometown is feared to bring coronavirus to people who are in the village.
