A nurse stands in front of the ARS Occitanie with flowers for the symbolic burying of their profession. District nurses organized a gathering in front of the ARS Occitanie (Regional Agency for Health) to demand a rise for their rates as rates have been fixed by the state for the last time in 2009. They cite for example that coming to a patient home is priced for EUR2.5 since 2012. Nurses also explained that their retirement age is 67 years and their work isn't considered as arduous. After the gathering, nurses took to the streets to the social security center where they symbolically left a coffin representaive of the death of their work due to a lack of people ready to work at these conditions.
