A person is buying a ticket to board a carriage of the Interoceanic Railway of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec at the Matias Romero Station in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Interoceanic Railway of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec is aiming to promote economic and tourist growth between the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean. It is also working to enhance education, health, and the agri-food industry for the residents of Veracruz and Oaxaca. The Mexican government states that the railway will strengthen trade exchanges, improve imports and exports, and facilitate distribution, costs, and delivery times, benefiting both consumers and producers.
