A protester holds a placard reading 'A citizen constituency or the death of democracy'. Thousands of protesters demonstrated in Toulouse for a demonstration called by CGT, FO, SUD trade unions They protested against the use of article 49.3 of the French Constitution by PM Edouard Philippe. This article bypass the National Assembly and the law is considered as adopted. PM Philippe uses it for the Macron's pension reform. The demonstration finished by use of tear gas by riot police to disperse the crowd. Toulouse. France. March 2nd 2020.
