A view through a false cell window during an happening held in Toulouse to raise awareness on condiitons of incarceration. March, 28th 2016. Toulouse. France. Differents NGOs like The Human Rights League, the Genepi (NGO for imnates), etc. put on display a mocked typical French prison cell of 9 square meters. This kind of cell is conceived to held two inmates but often receive up to four. The NGOs organize a festival called "Taul'Art" or "Jail outside Walls" to raise awareness of the harsh conditions of incarceration in French prisons. Passers-by are invited to spend some time in the cell. Inmates must live, sleep, have wash, go to toilets, watch TV, distract themselves in this tiny place.
