As in more than 50 towns across France, they read the name, surname, and age of the more than 53,000 Gazans killed since October 7, 2023. They also read testimonies from Gaza: 'What we are experiencing now is even worse than the Nakba of 1948,' says Ahmed Hamad, a Palestinian in Gaza City who has been displaced several times. No humanitarian assistance has been delivered to Gaza since March 2, and a global hunger monitor warns that half a million people face starvation in Gaza.
