Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) (center) takes a photo with the family of Andrew Joseph III, a teen detained without cause, who was killed shortly after release as a result of police actions, at the conclusion of a press conference announcing legislation to end qualified immunity for law enforcement. Families of victims spoke about the double tragedy of their loved ones’ killings and the inability to hold anyone accountable for their deaths.
