Hydraulic Fracturing is expected to take place in various locations around England, whilst the Northern Irish, Scottish and Welsh Governments has introduced moratoriums on the gas extraction method. Although fracking is a controversial form of energy extraction, due to environmental concerns, fracking is supposed to provide cheaper and more secure energy for the United Kingdom's domestic energy market.
