South Denmark Road Covered Bridge in rural Ashtabula County, Ohio, USA, on july 30, 2023. Built in 1860 it still is open to vehicular traffic. The ''Quilt Square'' shown on the bridge is called ''Geese and Leaves''. It was used in quilt making to help direct escaped slaves from the Southern United States find safe haven up until the end of the U.S. Civil War in 1865.
