Sri Lanka's Tourism Ministry has decided to issue longer visas for tourists arriving in the country in order to revive the crisis-hit tourism industry. The tourism industry has being battered in recent years, starting off with terror attacks on hotels and churches in 2019, followed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing economic crisis.

Spotted deer (Axis axis) at the Mrigasthali Deer Park just outside the Pashupatinath Temple Complex in Kathmandu, Nepal, on December 05, 2011. Deer are associated with Lord Shiva in the Hindu religion. The complex at Pashupatinath is the holiest Hindu site in Nepal.
