A counter-demonstrator, bottom in blue, clashes with demonstrators during the 'Ashli Babbitt Memorial March' from The Ellipse to the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2026, the fifth anniversary of the January 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riots. Ashli Babbitt was shot and killed by U.S. Capitol Police during the attack on the Capitol after attempting to breach a secured area inside.
