Intelligence and Disinformation' conference, organised by the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) and the Need to Know research network, in Krakow, Poland, on November 27, 2025. The network, founded in 2011, brings together international scholars to examine intelligence, security services and disinformation from the Cold War to the present.

Afghans returning from Pakistan sit on a truck to go home at the Spin Buldak border of southern Kandahar province, Afghanistan, on Aug. 2, 2016. The United Nations refugee agency has increased assistance package for registered Afghan refugee families, who are opting to return to Afghanistan under the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) facilitated voluntary return program.
