On February 21, 2025, in Mexico City, Mexico, followers of the Mexican singer and women's advocate Francisca Viveros Barradas, better known as Paquita La Del Barrio, say their last goodbye in a funeral procession. The procession begins at the J. Garcia Lopez funeral home, where a Cadillac hearse transports an urn with her ashes, traveling on Paseo de la Reforma until reaching Casa Paquita, a popular restaurant in the Guerrero neighborhood where the singer began her musical career. The event is led by Viola Dorantes, the singer's sister, along with family members. A mass is held, and at the end of it, dozens of followers go to the location to say goodbye to Paquita La Del Barrio. Paquita La Del Barrio passes away on February 17, 2025, after various relapses and complications in her health.
