Police escort the demonstration with reinforced units and estimate more than 800 participants, while around 90 right-wing counter-protesters gather nearby. Two individuals are removed for allegedly inciting criminal acts, and one dispersal order is issued. After several rainbow flags are vandalized the night before, organizers increase security and steward numbers, as a home match of Energie Cottbus takes place simultaneously in the city.

Jean Cristophe Sellin, one of the leaders of a political party, argues with a riot police officer. Called by all trade unions united, thousands of people take to the streets in Toulouse, France, on September 10, against Macron's economic policies after a day called 'Bloquons tout' (Block everything). It launches at the beginning of the summer on social networks against Macron's policies: downsizing the welfare state to cut taxes for businesses, rising the Defense budget and Interior Ministry, and his choice of conservative Sebastien Lecornu as the new Prime Minister. His pro-business stance angers French people who blockade everywhere in France on September 10. A gathering and a march are authorized by the Prefect of Occitanie. The Prefect decides to forbid the gathering called by the CGT union and the march one and a half hours before the beginning. Riot police charge and clash violently with peaceful protesters and CGT unionists using tear gas and pepper spray in Toulouse, France, on October 2, 2025.
