Four generations of the Talsih family, Hayka Sargsyan (age 104) with her son Ararat Sargsyan (age 66) and his wife, Angin Sargsyan (age 59), with the wife of her grand son, Narine Ohanyan (age 32), and two grand-grand children, Gor (age 4) and Hacob (age 8 months). Two other children, Nver (age 9) and Ararat (age 8) are not in the picture, as they attended the school. The family was evacuated from Talish, a village situated near the Karabkh-Azerbaijani border, during the first minutes of the conflict ('Four Day War'). They then arrived in Stepanokert on the 4th of April. They were all temporarily put into two rooms in Hotel Yerevan. Their house in Talish was partially destroyed as a result of the Azerbaijani attacks and bombing. Hay Sargsyan (age 36), the father of four children, was engaged with the NKR army on the day when Azerbaijani forces attacked Karabakh, and it was Ararat, his father, who saved the family. Firstly, with his wife Angin and daugther-in-law, they saved all four children, then Ararat returned to collect his mother, who could not understand why she needed to leave the house. They risked their lives, but theonly thing they wanted was to save the four young children. The family joined the army forces and were evacuated from the village rapidly.
