Central committee members of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) take part in an oath-taking ceremony at the party's central office in Parisdanda, Kathmandu, Nepal. The NCP is a newly unified communist party formed in November 2025 through the merger of more than ten communist factions, including Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda's CPN (Maoist Centre) and Madhav Kumar Nepal's CPN (Unified Socialist). Following the party's convention, Prachanda is named Coordinator and Madhav Kumar Nepal Co-coordinator. The party adopts a five-pronged star as its election symbol, with unification details submitted to the Election Commission ahead of upcoming elections.

Only two office-bearers are elected from the panel led by Ishwar Pokharel. Gokarna Bista is elected vice-chairperson, while Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai secures the post of deputy general secretary. Among the elected office-bearers, Padma Kumari Aryal is the only woman, winning the post of secretary. From the Pokharel panel, Binda Pandey loses the vice-chairperson race, while Rachana Khadka is defeated in the secretary contest. All nine secretary positions are secured by candidates from the Oli panel, underlining its overwhelming dominance in the party's new leadership structure.
