Counter-protesters silently display an Israeli/American flag during a rally at an encampment for Palestine set up by George Washington University students earlier in the day, in conjunction with other DC-area universities, Washington, DC, April 25, 2024. Demonstrators stand in solidarity with students across the country who have been arrested while advocating for Palestine, and demand an end to war in Gaza, divestment from companies profiting from Israel’s siege of Gaza, and an end to censorship of Palestinian students and organizations.
