This medium-sized pale green damselfly, belonging to the family Coenagrionidae, is commonly found near ponds, rivers, and canals in South Asian countries, including India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Nepal, and often breeds in shallow water bodies with dense aquatic vegetation.
