The vigil marks the 103rd day of the war in Gaza. Roughly 130 hostages remain in Gaza after 105 were released at the end of November in exchange for 240 Palestinians. No mention was made during the vigil of the more than 24,000 Palestinians who have been killed by Israeli military action since the Hamas attacks, or the roughly 7,000 Palestinians held by Israel.
