Demonstrators shout slogans during a clash between two groups of protestors in Kheroni, West Karbi Anglong, on December 23, 2025. The clash breaks out after a group, including women and children whose shops are burnt by a mob on Monday, comes out to protest against the initial violence. Meanwhile, agitators demanding the eviction of encroachers from the tribal belt also gather in the Kheroni Market area.
