Brigadier General Wioleta Gorzkowska, Deputy Chief Commandant of the Border Guard, during a press conference near the new fence on the Polish-Belarusian border near the village of Nowdziel. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki (Center) appeared on the Polish-Belarusian border at the border wall, which the Polish government called a 'physical barrier'. He participated in the handover of this steel and concrete structure to the Border Guard, by the contractor of the project, Budimex, Unibep and Budrex companies. The border wall on the Polish-Belarusian border was built with the use of 50,000 tons of steel. It is 5.5 meters high, topped with a razor wire and it stretches for 186.25 km. On Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Nowodziel, near Kuznica, Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland.
