SHANGHAI, CHINA - APRIL 26, 2023 - A general view shows the Adora Magic City, China's first domestically built large cruise liner, which is in the final stages of construction, in Shanghai, China, April 26, 2023. As planned, Adora Magic City will officially start its six-day docking operation on June 1, 2023. During this period, the position dynamics of the cruise ship will be controlled by the shore tractor, and three key tests including tilt test, gunwing-side flush test, lifeboat decoupling test and cruise test will be carried out to verify the weight and center of gravity of the whole ship, as well as the performance of the lifeboat and gunwing-side test. Adora Magic City, the first domestically built large cruise ship, has 2,125 rooms and can carry 5,246 passengers when fully loaded.
