Around the Markt in Brugge you can see the typical Belgian houses construction also enjoy carriage rides. . The main attraction of Bruges (Belgium) is its historic center, declared World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2000. Like Amsterdam and Stockholm, among others, Bruges is known as "the Venice of the North" because of the many canals running through the city and the beauty of the mismos.Su name comes from the Old Norse "Bryggia" (bridges , wharves, piers). Interestingly, in the Flemish / Dutch language "Brug" means "bridge", and that this city boasts as the plural name of this word because of the large number of bridges that are in it.
