A Karonese man, Pegang Purba, 44, shows a photo as a moment of the evacuation process for victims of the deadly eruption of Mount Sinabung on February 1, 2014 ago. Pegang Purba is one of the volunteers who helped. This photo was taken in the Guru Kinayan Village area in Karo, North Sumatra, Indonesia on July 15, 2022. The Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation noted that the status of Mount Sinabung had changed to Alert Level II.
