Regional authorities call it the most serious attack on civilians in recent years. Since the incident, security tightens across Kashmir Valley. At approximately 6:25 p.m., Sunday evening, on the 2800 block of S. Kedzie Avenue, a 23-year-old male who is a CCL holder is telling police officers that there is an exchange of gunfire between him and unknown suspects. Detectives are questioning the CCL holder at this time to determine whether or not he is recklessly discharging his weapon. Reporters in the area who are covering an unrelated triple shooting in the same area are ducking and covering while shots are ringing out from the incident.
