Family members console each other and hold a memorial to remember the life of a wife and toddler after a man fatally stabs them and attempts suicide in a domestic-related murder-suicide attack at 63-35 Forest Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens, New York, on July 20, 2025. Police find a 54-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest, a 41-year-old woman identified as Ana Pilatagsi-Moposita with numerous fatal stab wounds to the neck and chest, and a two-year-old female toddler identified as Analiz Cruz with fatal stab wounds. The two-year-old girl is pronounced dead, the 41-year-old woman is pronounced dead, and the 54-year-old man is originally listed in critical condition and then listed in stable condition. The New York City Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
