A sign along the Tamiami Trail, also known as U.S. Highway 41, marks the entrance to Alligator Alcatraz. The complex is an immigration detention facility located at the Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport inside Big Cypress National Preserve in Ochopee, Florida, United States. Announced in June 2025 by the Attorney General, James Uthmeier, and championed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, it is situated in the Everglades west of Miami. The name alludes to both the local reptile population and the former maximum-security Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary in San Francisco Bay, California.

The badge of the Federal Republic of Germany is being seen on the car of Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Nicosia, Cyprus, on February 12, 2024. The President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, is being guided by the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and Nicosia Mayor, Constantinos Yiorkadjis, to the old city of Nicosia, where the barricades that separate the Greek and Turkish sides of the city, also known as the ''Green Line,'' are visible. Nicosia remains the last divided European capital. This visit by the German President marks the first ever since the establishment of the Republic of Cyprus in 1960 and the commencement of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
