Activists of Amnesty International Molfetta light candles on Corso Umberto I in Molfetta, Italy on the occasion of the flash mob to remember Giulio Regeni on January 25th, 2020. Regeni was a PhD student in Cairo and disappeared on the evening of the 25th of January 2016. His body was found a few days later bearing signs of torture but the culprits have never been found.

The event was held in Cala S. Andrea, where swimmers and passers-by attended in silence the impromptu demonstration and then turned a long applause to the activists.
