The sacred 16th-century Bhairava masks are pictured in a procession as they depart the National Museum of Nepal in Chhauni, Kathmandu, on June 18, 2026, en route to their original shrine in Dolakha after more than three decades abroad. The masks were stolen in March 1994 and later trafficked internationally before entering museum circulation in the United States. Following provenance research and legal coordination between Nepali authorities and the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, the masks were formally returned and repatriated to Nepal in December 2023. Their return is part of ongoing efforts to restore cultural heritage to its place of origin and to the communities that regard them as sacred objects.

Fans gather to sing songs by Carlos ''Indio'' Solari during ''La Ultima Misa Ricotera'' at Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, following the news of Solari's death at age 77. The spontaneous gathering, organized through social media, transformed the political center of the country into what was formally named ''La Ultima Misa Ricotera.'' A large crowd of all ages participated in a collective tribute, with red and black flags and shirts filling the area. Attendees held a vigil with lit candles and sang classics such as ''Jijiji,'' ''La bestia pop,'' and ''Un angel para tu soledad'' in unison in front of the Casa Rosada. The event highlighted the significant cultural legacy of the former leader of Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota.
