Attending a press conference revealing the 5G transmission establishment by the network provider Chunghwa Telecom, Tsai Ing-wen, President of Taiwan says the country should take advantage of the existing territories of both semiconductor and information, communication technology to foster further development of ''internet of things'' and artificial intelligence, in Taipei, Taiwan, 20 June 2020. According to Chunghwa Telecom, which is the first telecom provider obtaining 5G mobile broadbands after it was licensed by National Communications Commission in early June, has built 2000 cell sites across many predominant cities to provide stable and rapid network speed for mobile users.
