Idols of Lord Ganesh to immerse in river Yamuna near Geeta Colony to perform Visarjan on the occasion of Anant Chaturthi on September 1, 2020 in New Delhi. Ganesh Visarjan is the process of immersing the Ganesh idol into the water, marking the end of the festival. Despite Covid-19 restrictions, some of the people were found violating the guidelines by performing immersion in Yamuna river and ignoring social distancing norms across the national capital.
