On Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:29 p.m., a man and a woman are near the sidewalk when they are struck by gunfire. A male victim self-transports to St. Bernard with unknown injuries. A 52-year-old female victim is transported to U of C Hospital with at least one gunshot wound to her back and is initially reported in good condition. There are no suspects in custody. Investigators with the Crime Scene Unit recover several shell casings.
