Members of Herndon-Reston Indivisible demonstrate outside the Supreme Court of the United States as it hears oral arguments in a case that will determine if Donald Trump may be disqualified for the 2024 presidential election due to his actions in the January 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection, Washington, DC, February 8, 2024. The Colorado Supreme Court ruled earlier that Trump is ineligible because he engaged in insurrection, violating the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, and both parties have appealed to the Supreme Court to obtain a final ruling on the matter. The ruling will be on the Colorado case but will have far-reaching consequences as Trump faces challenges to his eligibility in at least 11 states.

Members of Herndon Reston Indivisible hold signs spelling out “off our backs,” during the Women's March Rally for Abortion Justice in Washington, DC. Protesters demand the US government protect women's reproductive rights and access to abortion nationwide. Specifically, they are calling on Congress to pass the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) and EACH Act, which guarantee abortion access and require it to be covered by insurance. More than 600 satellite protests are happening nationwide on October 2. The events are partly in response to restrictive anti-abortion laws recently passed in Texas and Mississippi, and the Supreme Court's refusal to strike down the Texas law.
