A White-rumped Vulture and a Himalayan Griffon Vulture feed on a carcass in Ghachok, Machhapuchchhre Rural Municipality, Nepal, on May 4, 2025. The White-rumped Vulture is listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List since 2000 due to a severe population decline, primarily caused by kidney failure from diclofenac poisoning.
