Relatives, friends and classmates of Lorena Escobar, a veterinary student and victim of feminicide, demanded justice and held a memorial with flowers, banners and photographs inside the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico where she studied. Lorena Escobar, 25 years old, was raped and murdered by her ex-partner on February 8th in the Miguel Hidalgo district; however, there had already been a previous complaint against the aggressor, but the capital authorities ignored it.
