Iranian men prepare donated tea to serve to people attending a religious festival celebrating the birthday anniversary of Imam Mahdi outside a holy shrine in northern Tehran, Iran, on February 13, 2025. Twelver Shia Muslims believe Muhammad ibn Hasan al-Mahdi is the twelfth and final Imam, currently in occultation. He is the awaited Mahdi who will return at the end of time to establish peace, justice, and the righteous rule of Islam.
