Iranian singer Mostafa Ragheb sings under two giant symbolic effigies of an Islamic Revolutionary Guard General and an Iranian ancient warrior during a state event unveiling a sculpture of the Roman emperor Valerian and Shapur I, the Sasanian king of kings, in Enghelab (Revolution) Square, in downtown Tehran, Iran, on November 7, 2025, while the Iran-Israel ceasefire is in effect. Following the twelve-day war with Israel, the Islamic Republic of Iran draws upon national symbols and elements of ancient Persian heritage to strengthen a sense of national solidarity and foster public support for the country's policies.
