Pro-Palestinians hold a large banner reading ''7 October, the pride of resistance and the voice of dignity'' and featuring portraits of former Hamas leaders, Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, during a demonstration in Tunis, Tunisia, on October 4, 2025, to protest Israel's detention of Tunisian activists participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla humanitarian mission and to demand their release. They also protest against what they call the war of extermination and starvation inflicted on the people of Gaza. The Israeli military intercepts the Global Sumud Flotilla ships and detains all participants on board. The Global Sumud Flotilla is an international solidarity mission that sets sail with hundreds of participants, including activists, politicians, humanitarian groups, and public figures from dozens of countries, to break Israel's blockade of Gaza amid the ongoing attacks on the enclave. Participants aim to deliver food, water, and medicine to civilians in Gaza, which faces a humanitarian crisis amid Israel's siege.

A pro-Palestinian, his face covered with the traditional Palestinian Keffiyeh, holds up a large banner with the image of former Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, as thousands of pro-Palestinian Tunisians, activists, and supporters gather in Tunis, Tunisia, on June 19, 2025, to welcome and honor the Resilience Convoy following its return from Libya. While en route to Egypt, the Resilience Convoy is stopped by authorities in eastern Libya at the Syrte checkpoint. According to the organizers, more than a dozen participants are threatened, assaulted, and then detained before being conditionally released by security forces loyal to Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar. Forced to turn back, the convoy ultimately has to return to Tunisia. The Resilience Convoy, also known as the Maghreb Caravan of Resilience or the Soumoud Convoy, is a civilian and solidarity initiative launched from Tunisia. It brings together over 1,500 participants and pro-Palestinian activists from across the Maghreb (North Africa) in support of the people of Gaza. The convoy aims to symbolically break the Israeli siege of Gaza by delivering a message of solidarity overland to the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. It is initially planned to join the international movement Global March to Gaza at the Rafah crossing on June 15.
