Filipinos pray at the Diocesan Shrine of Jesus the Divine Word in Quezon City during an hour dedicated for ''reparation for the sacrilege against The Lord's Prayer'' on Friday, August 4, 2023. In a letter dated July 31, 2023, Filipino bishop Honesto Ongtioco of the Diocese of Cubao instructed priests, administrators, and consecrated men and women to hold a ''Diocesan Day of Prayer in Reparation for the Sacrilege Against the Lord'' on the monthly devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on August 4, 2023 after a video of former Drag Den Philippines contestant Pura Luka Vega impersonating Jesus Christ, danced to a remixed version of The Lord's Prayer in Filipino, causing a mostly hostile reaction against the drag queen. Vega has stood for their performance, calling it their own expression of faith.
