Magdalena Ogorek, a Polish historian and politician, promoted today her new book 'Wachter List', where she investigates works of art stolen by Wachtel in Krakow during the WWII. Otto von Wachter was an Austrian General in German Nazi army. During the WWII, he was the Governor of Krakow then Governor of Galicia, and a leader of the Jewish extermination campaign. Wachter was also art connoisseur - he extends his collections with works looted from Krakow and Lviv, where he moves later to establish a division of SS-Galizien.
