Under the proposed bill, a person suspected to be a terrorist can be detained for up to 24 days without a warrant of arrest, be placed under surveillance, and may be sentenced to lifetime imprisonment. The bill has been approved on its third and final reading by the House of Representatives yesterday, June 3.
