Cécile Marchand, member of the Friends of the Earth and ANV-COP21 movements, and Pauline Boyer, member of the Alternatiba citizen movement and spokesperson for ANV-COP21, march in the lobby of the Paris court during the trial of eight (8) activists of the ANV-COP21 movement (Non Violent Action - COP21) tried on Wednesday, September 11 at the Paris Court of First Instance (TGI) for having participated in actions to drop Emmanuel Macron's presidential portrait in Paris district town halls last February to denounce the French government's climate inaction as part of the "Décrochons Macron" campaign. The court has requested fines of €1,000, including a suspended €500 fine, and the verdict will be handed down on 16 October.
