The grave of Don Lorenzo Milani, surrounded by colorful flower offerings, is seen at the small cemetery of Barbiana on April 7, 2026, in Vicchio, Tuscany, Italy. The white marble slab reads ''SAC. The cemetery, enclosed by an ancient stone perimeter wall, also holds the graves of other members of the Barbiana community, including local parishioners and students of the school.
