Cardinal Mario Grech, the secretary general of the Synod of Bishops, participates in the March of Remembrance on the occasion of the 83rd anniversary of the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto in Krakow, Poland, on March 15, 2026. The Krakow Ghetto is established in 1941 and is inhabited by 16,000 Jews. On March 13 and 14, 1943, it is liquidated when the Germans resettle the Jews to the KL Plaszow labor camp. To commemorate this, the March of Remembrance follows the same route as the Jews in March 1943.
