Balinese Hindu devotees are burning an Ogoh-ogoh to mark the end of the Tawur Kesanga ritual at the Parahyangan Agung Pasundan temple in Bekasi district, West Java, on March 10, 2024. During the Tawur Kesanga ritual, Balinese Hindus are participating in a worship and parading Ogoh-ogoh, effigies that represent demons or bad traits, which they will then burn as a symbol of the triumph of goodness. The Tawur Kesanga ritual is the final series of rituals before the Nyepi, or Balinese Day of Silence, which this year will be celebrated on March 11.
