Massimo Bellini, in the room of his second child, waits with the hope that his first child from the Japanese ex-wife at the age of 20 wants to meet him. he married a Japanese woman and moved the same year from Italy to Japan. In June 2009 he separated and began a long battle to meet his son. During the divorce procedure, which lasted 3 years, he was allowed to meet his son only once a month for 3 hours, under the supervision of his mother. With the conclusion of the divorce in April 2012, the Japanese family court granted the father a visit to his son for only 3 hours a month in the presence of his mother. In March 2016, the mother decided to cancel all his visits. Following the cancellation of parental visits the father and returned to court to reopen the case. After more than a year of slow discussions in court, Massimo Bellini decided to close the case and to renounce the right to visit, on the basis that the son "is not interested in seeing his father", says the mother. Massimo Bellini says "The court was unable to assert my and my son's rights, and heavily favored the mother's reasons". Today he continues to dream of being able to embrace his son so as to be able to give him paternal love and affection.
