Members of Newtown Action Alliance take a photo with Democratic Whip Kathering Clark (D-MA) (center left), Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) (center right), and Democratic Caucus Vice Chair Pete Aguilar (D-CA) prior to a press conference on Ethan’s Law, a bill to prohibit unsafe gun storage. The law is named for Ethan Song, who was killed by an improperly stored gun at a neighbor’s home. The law would also authorize prosecution of those whose unsecured guns cause injury. House Democratic leaders plan a discharge petition to force a vote in the House of Representatives.
